The clock is winding down on a last-minute, emergency action to keep the latest Apple Watch on store shelves.

President Joe Biden has until the end of Christmas day to overturn a US International Trade Commission ruling that will prevent Apple from selling the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, among other newer models, because they violate patents registered to another company. But it appears unlikely he’ll intervene.

It is time to replace my 10+ year old Nest and since I have moved from Android to iOS I am looking for something that will work with Apple home. I see the ecobee listed in the Apple Store but is that the only thing? Or just the one that Apple recommends/has a partnership? I would like one that can use temperature sensors as the bedrooms on either end of the house can vary quite a bit from the thermostat.

I also have a single nest smoke detector and several dumb ones that I need to replace. Are there any that work with Apple home?

When Palia released on Switch earlier this week, I had no idea it was also available on PC. I did some digging and found this launcher and guide for running Palia on Mac. So far I have been playing it most of the day without issue. Setup was just as easy as setup on Windows.

My Ghost LED arrived. Warning, the plug is very short, and it is a USB-A. The instructions, which appear to be for any generic LED this company makes, indicates there is a power switch. I have as of yet been unable to find it.

I ordered a 10 foot male to female usb an extension, and have a WiFi enabled plug for it coming.

I do not need to do photo editing or anything like that. I need to be able to make graphics for my business' social media, and to display on my in store monitors. I get marketing graphics from different publishers whose products i sell, and i need to be able to add my business name and other info.

I have Photoshop CS5 on my dying windows laptop, and i just got a new MacBook pro to replace my old air. Now that i do not have reliable access to Photoshop i need a Mac alternative.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Cheap would be best. I am willing to pay for a program that does what i need.

Any other FF14 Mac players? I have a MacBook Pro and when ever I select my data center FF14 crashes. Square Enix support is telling me to use Direct X 9 instead of 11.

On the 11th my son rescued a 4 week old orange kitten. Jethro, as he was named, still cannot play a flute, but has doubled in weight (432g on the 11th to over 900g at least weigh in).

My river pup (i found her abandoned, poisoned, pregnant, and sick at the river) Gizmo really likes Jethro. However Gizmo is almost 34kg and is not always the most careful around little Jethro.
