I don't know if it was a skill issue in my end but one day I did a Syu and it gave me shit ton of errors about how bunch of packages conflict, I eventually figured it out but it kept getting worse with every syu

arch repos are not officially supported anyway so its probably not a good idea to use artix if you need arch repos

dont use artix

i used it for a year, if you add arch repos (which you have to if you want to install anything useful) package issues get worse with every update, eventualy you have to add shit ton of ignore and assume installed flags to each pacman command

if you are getting "punched down" (aka offended) by a joke posted on lemmy, by a random guy, you should realize that it is simply not that deep

yeah i didnt get any pressure about handling last names, so you might say "you just dont get it" but when i go to linuxmemes and see a meme about a distro i use, i dont go to comments and start a war about it bc it is just a fucking meme, same concept

why yall having a war in the comments? its a silly meme about last names, who the actual fuck cares?

bro i hate this type of shit, when you are a kid you are not doing school work all of the time, and when you are an adult you are not working all of the time - yes you will always have responsibilities but that is a part of your life

jokes on you i only watch lesbian

[–] ngn@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

that kinda depends on your personal experience - for example ive been running arch for 2 years, i do weekly updates and ive never encountered a single issue

the only thing void has over arch is more architecture support (which is kinda ironic)
