Until used, then it'll smell like something else

Well, it would've collapsed either way, as you can see on the pictures during the fire that the metal is starting to buckle uniformly around the entire floor with the fire. But patches without insulation probably meant that it collapsed sooner than it could've.

Didn't help anyone trapped, so the net result is the same in that I fail to see how 30 minutes extra before it crumbled would've made any difference

And Microsoft certainly never did this...

NFTs, like blockchain in general, are public write-only databases. The only difference is that NFTs also contains references to things such as media (pictures).

They're still around, but like all other fads that are poorly camouflaged ~~pondicherry~~ ponzi schemes (ducking autocorrect), they're practically worthless.

An NFT doesn't dictate ownership, neither de jure nor de facto.

While I find the concept of public write-only databases interesting feom a technological standpoint, an actual use case has yet to be discovered.

IIRC, the materials were fine, but the spray-on fireproofing left large patches uncovered. While not a direct cause, it certainly didn't help.

WTYP has a pretty good episode on the entire thing

I've heard about this guy named Tony who still skates at the age of 58. He's pretty good at it too. I wonder if he ever considered a career in it.

That made me curious: what's your current field? And has your college degree been useful in another way than originally intended?

At 21 years old, I would never have thought I'd be living in [REDACTED] with 4 kids, a GF and awell paying job I actually like.

Alternatively, 21 year old me would probably have had his mind blown if I'd shown him all the places in the world I've had the pleasure of visiting.

Including your age is appreciated but not required

And the average person should also know that steel doesn't need to melt to lose a lot of it's load bearing capacity. At 500-600 Celsius, only 50% of steel strength remains.
