That's some dedication.

Technically you can delete the Windows partition and it would be fine. However you should backup your files in it if your Windows partition was all about C:\ drive. If you are gonna backup anyway, just do the backup and format the whole disk and start with a clean slate. It's better if your disk is not formatted as NTFS.

If you have D:\ drive and want to delete C:\ drive and only keep D:, you should also delete System Reserved and EFI partitions as well. You can create another partition with this place but that would make 2 partitions in the disk. Normally Gparted (or any other partition program) can merge partitions without you losing data but I have no idea if they can do this with NTFS as well. So, I would go with the first option here. Backup everything and format the disk with a Linux file system. If you are gonna use it for mostly media files, XFS could be a fine choice. If you want it as a general separate disk, go with ext4.

If you want to learn more, I can answer your questions or link you Wiki pages.

Sure:

  • Tempest Rising: Pretty much what you might expect from a modern Command & Conquer game. 3D Realms delivered.
  • The Fertile Crescent: An indie title, kinda falls short on civilization count but still a fun time passer.
  • Godsworn: A Warcraft III alike early access title. Note that it still needs more content and improvements but current state is still fine.
  • Empire Eternal: No release date yet but I'm really excited about this one. It looks like a modern Empire Earth game.

I mean there are many different RTS games that either recently released or in the making, but this does not look it's one of the great ones. Also it awfully looks like Command & Conquer, like someone modded it and made this game.

Thanks for the suggestion, seems actually nice with all the ability to install a custom ROM. Sadly, it's not practical for me to get it from abroad because of our government's horrendous regulations about buying anything from outside of the country unless you are a trader. Even if I manage to buy it without any problems, there is also IMEI unlock fee which is almost the same price with this phone. My best bet would be, get this phone via a friend who comes from abroad and change the IMEI to my old phone. So, not soon but maybe some day.

Apparently they dig. :) I wonder what's the real reason for they love those boxes so much. There must be something instinctual.

Maybe not a dumb phone but I would love to use a phone with an e-ink screen. I know there are some projects about this or some Chinese phones but I haven't met an e-ink phone that I can install a custom ROM yet.

It's all relative though. Yes, we're insignificant to the rest of the universe, but...
