Running errands with my dog. I often feel guilty because I do not take him out a lot. He basically has 24/7 yard access and I use that as an excuse to not take him out for walks. He is low energy breed but I know he loves going out.

I'm an over 50 male and I really liked Teen Vogue. They often presented articles dealing with social justice. I felt as if it gave me a peak into how younger generations are affected and deal with this crazy world.

Here is the last article showing up in my RSS feed: https://www.teenvogue.com/story/amid-snap-benefits-suspension-more-young-people-will-go-hungry

This. The ambulance rides are not free.

Every time I have been 5150 I've come out slightly better mentally but much worse financially. I was stressed about finances before I went in and received a new bunch of bills when I got out.

Let’s form a Michale triple

Who is this Michale you speak of? They must be eliminated.

EDIT - Congrats! This should have been the first thing I said.

How did you get diagnosed? Really.

Lemmy has taught me that I likely have ADHD and meds may help. I was diagnosed as bipolar over 30 years ago and have been on meds for that. Things were always off but I couldn't put a finger on what it was. Plus I always feared changing things (or meds) would make me worse.

I've already decided I'm going to talk to my regular doctor about it but... I keep having to cancel appointments because I forget to get my required blood tests.

Flavored tobacco used to only target minorities so it was OK. There are documentaries about this showing how much more flavored tobacco was advertised in lower socio-economic areas.

Once children started vaping the CA govt stepped in.

If you oppose the ban I have to assume because you don't know where to get menthol cigs anymore. I live in Oakland and can still find Newports. I quite smoking them over 25 years ago but know more than one place that sells them.

edit - this thread is about age verification. not sure why you think tobacco bans are remotely close.

so no more government cheese

LOL. I was talking about govt cheese with a co-worker this week. My grandmother, who lived through both world wars and the great depression, would collect anything the govt was giving away. She and grandpa lived in a large home and had more than enough money to survive. She literally had a room where she stored excess food.

The list gets told to me as I'm leaving. It has more than two items. I'm screwed.

And it will go on your permanent record!

Right? There is almost always another Michael nearby.
