thank you!! this is core to my frustration with her. she performs as though she is marginalized and/or hated on because of her body. but she is categorically NOT. like, not even remotely. she exists in probably one of the safest bodies a woman can exist in. she also has the wealth and privilege and access to continue to insulate herself from the harms that other women and femmes and otherwise marginalized people incur because of the bodies they exist in. the real critiques of her have NOTHING to do with how she looks in and of itself. it’s how she manipulates and exploits discourses about bodies and beauty and empowerment and feminism for massive profit.

yeah i’m curious if sarah and cagla knew each other before traitors. and i feel devastated for cagla’s ex, it really seems like she was blindsided. i think sarah and cagla bringing their respective spouses on that trip out east was sociopathic tbh.
sarah and cagla are waiting to launch their relationship during pride month. i think they're going to turn sarah’s coming out story + the public launch of their relationship into content $$ and ride that wave for as long as they can. sarah’s platform is tanking and she needs a new schtick. she really squeezed her last divorce for all she could, and this time she will squeeze her late-in-life queerness for all she can. i would bet money that a bunch of dingdongs at shine have been crafting a narrative involving a false timeline of when sarah and cagla got together in an attempt to keep the focus on sarah’s new-found queerness, instead of the shady cheating that launched the relationship. cagla made a HUGE mistake, sarah chews up and spits out the people closest to her and i wonder how long it’ll be before they realize it.

toxic is exactly it. sarah has called countless people her “best friend” over the years (including her most recent ex-husband, who she almost certainly cheated on). and how many of these “best friends” are even in her life anymore? it's very typical for narcissists to cycle through intense friendships and lack the ability to sustain long-term friendships.

agree, i think she is actually incapable of being honest. i think she somehow genuinely believes her own lies and the fake versions that she posts online (yes, plural, all the diff filters and voices and affects she constantly flips between) are more real to her than her irl self. she is pathological and it seems to only get worse as time goes on (this is often the case with narcs).
