Its just a ball rolling down a hill trying to find the lowest point, but its like a super fancy ball with a ton of rules, and the hills are really detailed with like little walls and bridges and stuff.

"and then I exploited that fact rather than helping people" I guess went unspoken

The real insanity is people allowing this to become a debate about air conditioning rather than facing the actual existential global crisis that this is merely (yet another) warning shot of.

Yes, always be fake as shit with people you despise because it's "professional". In no way is that exact attitude to blame for our current situation.

I absolutely did not use that exact excuse when I was a teenage foreign exchange student and ruined the family's computer. Nope, no siree.

Well none of this applies to me since I would never never intentionally impact the profits of a corporation (it's a crime). But for some sort of filthy radical out there with nothing on their deranged mind but to harm our great society, this is eminently solid advice.

Oh yeah, the number one least recommended thing would be to dress in dark neutral colors with a face covering, and arrive on something like a common generic bicycle or on foot. That might make it difficult to bring such a person to justice, which would be a shame.

Apropos of nothing, for your own safety, just be aware that high-powered hand-held blue or green lasers (1W+) are extremely dangerous and can permanently damage both human eyes and camera sensors beyond repair.

Just remember to never ever buy a high-powered blue or green laser pointer (1 watt+), which sadly are easily available many places online, because were you to do that, and accidentally turn it on while it was pointed at, say, a camera sensor, you could permanently damage that sensor and make it unusable!

Good on her and her legal team. Very few of the people that Trump has harmed ever get court-ordered compensation, and even fewer successfully collect it. To go toe-to-toe with arguably the greatest abuser (of our legal system) in recent memory and come out with anything at all to show for it is a massive accomplishment and I can only hope she is feeling some small sense of justice finally done today.

He's more machine now than man; twisted and evil.

There's going to be a massive boom in local llms if we get there. Already I have replaced ~80% of my paid token usage with a small local model running on my 64gb macbook pro, but being able to run a full-fidelity multi-hundred-billion parameter llm locally would be a game changer for my use case at least.

Let's get mad like the gif days.
