I got a usb4 adapter to put my disk in since I already had it. I think the adapter is like a qwizlib or something like that.
I got it because its like a big heatsink and no fan, good for when I go camping I didn't want the fan sucking in dust. But I'm pretty surprised by how hot it gets, hot to the touch so not sure how good it is for the drive
Very cool, I recently got a solar panel and battery. Now I wish I got a battery that could input more from the panel. The panel is supposed to be 100w but the battery only takes 65w when running my tablet I discharge it at like 68w because thats what the USB c input taps out at but it uses around 100w at full tilt so I can't charge the battery enough and can't charge my tablet enough
The only issue now on my camping gaming setup is the glare.
I want to do something with solar for my homelab, even if it only ran off solar partially each day would be super nice
