Very cool, I recently got a solar panel and battery. Now I wish I got a battery that could input more from the panel. The panel is supposed to be 100w but the battery only takes 65w when running my tablet I discharge it at like 68w because thats what the USB c input taps out at but it uses around 100w at full tilt so I can't charge the battery enough and can't charge my tablet enough

The only issue now on my camping gaming setup is the glare.

I want to do something with solar for my homelab, even if it only ran off solar partially each day would be super nice

I got a usb4 adapter to put my disk in since I already had it. I think the adapter is like a qwizlib or something like that.

I got it because its like a big heatsink and no fan, good for when I go camping I didn't want the fan sucking in dust. But I'm pretty surprised by how hot it gets, hot to the touch so not sure how good it is for the drive

I had a really good time with this game, when my daughter was born I got to stay home for about a month and just had this running for when she would sleep I'd play for a bit until she woke up. I wish it had more battle stuff which I think they have added so excited to play it again on release

I use immich for all mobile/old jpg and video stuff.

For raw photos I use syncthing to keep a synced copy from my nas to my external drive so I can edit on the go in full speed vs network connection.

My previous laptop had two m.2 slots but current tablet only has one so I had to move the 4tb external

My wife's car is like that, you set it to 72 and it'll blast really hot air or really cold air depending on the outside temperature vs inside. I wish it just blasted 72 degree air. I just always use it in manual mode now so its not constantly switching.

This is why I think things like social media and doom scrolling are so bad, because it makes it so people can't stand being bored and they need to get back to scrolling. Instead of getting bored enough that they finish a project or start a new hobby.

At least thats what I've noticed in myself, it took me uninstalling reddit and Instagram a few years ago and letting boredom in to get me to work on my hobbies more

With bazzite or really any distro you can run distrobox/distroshelf and just install whatever kind of package you want, for example I have an arch box where I run darktable because the flatpak kept giving me not responding prompts whenever I scrolled through my library too fast.

also I had trouble getting opencl to run with my igpu on flatpak, but with distrobox I just installed the GPU drivers and everything ran right away, and darktable shows up like any other application in the menus
