There are acts which deserve severe punishment. Perhaps multiple lifetimes of the most severe punishment one can imagine.

But there is no such act that, in this finite world, by finite humans, merits infinite punishment.

I think it's a long-standing problem, yes, but there's no contesting that AI has demonstrably escalated the issue in a significant way.

I think NMS, and by extension, Hello Games, has had the biggest glow up across gaming. Yes its launch was completely fucked, but imo, it's clear that they truly care about this game.

Any other studio would've probably dumped the game after it crashed and burned, but Hello Games stuck with it and made it into a pretty good game.

Studios should strive to get it right the first time, but when they don't, I think NMS is a good example of how to do better.

Can't get out of state charges, though.
