Poor sales have reportedly forced Apple to cut production of the Vision Pro headset that it had hoped would herald a new era in “spatial computing”.

The tech company also reduced marketing for Vision Pro by more than 95% last year, according to the market intelligence group Sensor Tower in figures first reported by the Financial Times.

Apple continues to sell iPhones, iPads and laptops in the millions each quarter, but analysts say sales of Vision Pro headsets, which cost at least £3,199 ($3,499) each, have been sluggish.

Apple has not released sales figures for the device, but the market research group International Data Corporation (IDC) estimates it will have sold only 45,000 in the last quarter of last year.

To convince Joe you have to say that the thing is a conspiracy theory(ex mrna vaccines) and get someone that is shunned/dismissed from a community for being a crackpot(ex: an anti vax doctor).

It makes Joe feel like he is part of an exclusive club of people who know the "real" truth.

I think it is way more inconvenient when you pick up a dead controller and fiddle around with long cables then taking the minuit to swap out AAs. Recharchable AAs are so much more convenient and as you said ensure the controller's longevity. I am still rocking the original steam controller.

Probably wanted to say "shits on"

Yeah might not be exciting but it is functional. I think we are at a point of diminishing returns in phone UI design that appeals to all audiences.

I mean he will probably change his mind again the next time he speaks to Putin or someone from The Russian administration.

When considering new customers or those who, for example, have irreparably damaged their Fairphone, it's important to recognize that selling a three-year-old device as new may not be appealing to them. Additionally, many people today rely on their phones as their primary computer and therefore require the performance necessary to handle a variety of tasks.

I mean they are laying claim to the territory. They could "cleanse" it from the "nazis" if they take it over. Kind of like how a man with a funny moustache did with a certain demographic some time ago.

Is cloning that much faster than running to the lever? Do you also keep a cloning machin always handy on you?

You mean surrender. You wish for Ukraine to surrender stolen territory. You also assume Russia would not use the time of peace to regroup rearm and reinvade.

Everyone wants peace. Putin wanted peace from the beginning but the pesky sovereign nation wanted to keep it's sovereignty.

They put on the top shelf so that only tall people can reach it.

There have been quite a few comics in this style recently. For this specific comic, the background is always changing.
