@badmin @ISO

This are the CV of the person at Ubuntu carrying the reponsibilities for these changes: https://jnsgr.uk/cv/

Mark Shuttleworth (founder of Canonical) hails from a similar background. I don't trust the people working at Canonical an iota to uphold human rights and personal liberties.

Add to that their push for Snap (instead of package manager integration). I'm willing to bet, that they're moving away from APT soon-ish.

British Army # Captain - 2013-2019 # Architected and built multiple high-end bespoke Electronic Surveillance capabilities. Created a small start-up programme with a culture of disruptive innovation. Conceived and delivered bespoke technical development and training programmes. Co-authored the ‘CEMA Framework’ for the British Army which underpins Joint Forces CEMA doctrine. Deployed tactical Electronic Warfare and strategic Signals Intelligence capabilities.

@kubikpixel @ubuntu @rust
