Try creating your own smb.conf file from scratch using this Samba wiki page as reference, I believe Debian doesn't create one for you. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_a_Standalone_Server

The link doesn't seem to be working.
No prob, I hope running linux without "secure" boot is the fix you needed🙂
Only for the installation . I dual-boot Windows 11 and Arch and have secure boot disabled. I took no extra steps, ( only had it on ( secure boot) for the windows install, disabled it after I installed win, so I could next install arch for the dual boot)
Thanks, another person mentioned it, I'm trying it now, hopefully it suits my needs.
Thanks I'm trying it now!
I use chatgpt a lot, what is the best non-billionaire funded llm? I really need to change to one that doesn't worsen the world...
Oh nice, even better!
mptcpize
I just heard about mptcp, and it looks interesting. From what I understand (from its Wikipedia page ) it uses multiple links, correct? If so, which ones did you use? Wifi and Ethernet?
Looks very interesting, I should recommend someone I know to try on their steamdeck (when connected to the dock) to speed up Steam downloads.
Checks & balances
Switched for whole grain bread for that exact reason, I found out I'm pre-diabetic so my next step after paying attention to my diet will be taking up exercise.
I've been noticing headlines doing a lot of that lately. There's no need to lie when reality is bad enough...
