bell articolo, finché non sara presente un modello di guadagno individuale sulla rete sara tutto molto difficile perche purtroppo la diffusione dell etica non dipende dai contenuti ma da chi ne usufruisce. e quindi sara na faticaccia!! 🙂

yes, for sure you are right...my was a long shot...😁...but duopoly is a shit and I just have the sensation that there are a lot of different projects (from sw and hw to rebranding o creating new things) that maybe is better to merge and do something more significant.. don't know maybe still dreams

yeah, processor and sw are the reason why the title was a dream...😄...I was talking about risc-v hoping for a new contender in the market, I mean, considering the future scenario, performances, are something Foss communities can go by for few years

I agree with you about e-ink being at early stages, but why do you think it's a lot for 300$? beside ram and a processor that can support video output (so it possible to consider the same of the first Samsung Dex) it an hw of 2020, not even the best one, 300$ was in fact for the idea to support the cost of sw, I mean I was talking about hw of 5yr ago with 1 front and 1 back camera

Just for fun and open some discussion/interest. Processor: Must support video output, linux is for who want a PC, not just a phone in their pocket (Is Risc-v an alternative here? open from ground?) Ram: 8GB min Storage: 64GB (external micro SD should be the real storage) Camera: 1 front and 1 back from a midrange of 5 yr ago is enough, if you want go pro buy a camera, otherwise AI is and will better than you) Battery:biggest as possible WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC as default for 2023 is nuff Monitor: 4k on a device big as hands is nonsense, better have anti reflection and low consumption, color e-ink is at early stage so an average one of '25 is enough Most important of all, price: must be under 300$!!!! otherwise Linux will never spread. Opinion on this? Have a nice we!!

bel sunto complimenti, ma la domanda ancora piu del ca%%o sarebbe, che futuro avranno dato che partono da un progetto open ma di fatto gestito da google? la risposta sara sempre la stessa...linux phone....postmarketOS, ubuntu o altro... basta che si sbrighino

Google mette una pietra sopra le custom ROM: sviluppare GrapheneOS per i Pixel sarà sempre più difficile in c/lealternative@feddit.it

speriamo uniscano un po tutti le forze per passare definitamente ad un linux phone veramente open (sullo stile di mobian, PMOS o ubuntu touch x intenderci)

yes, thanks for your reply. did you have any advice for the annoying permanent notification on lock screen if forcing network notification on A10. Have you ever experience that?

seems that developer is the same, so why two app? which is the long term goals? is a one man project? ps: congrats for your great works! pps: using android 10 and forcing connection the permanent notification appear also on block screen and pretty annoying, is possible to disable it? Thanks

In the past ublock origin did it on fennec, but now is no more working. I'm also using chrome as user agent (google search fixer extension) if it does matter. Thanks

When I open a PDF and then go back to homescreen the app closes itself and it's not alive in background (I'm on android 10)...anyone have same experience? this happen with mupdf and mupdf mini too

I'm trying searx, but like duckduckgo, qwant and ecosia doesn't give me direct answer (Firefox both PC/android). Just google and bing works, any idea (maybe some site that use ai directly without agree or choose the model every time like in DDG) My user scenario will be to use it with kiss launcher on android (will be great if someone know a way to use some ai search with it too) Thanks
