Here's my girls fighting over who gets to be the paper bag princess.

My brother wants to for Father's Day is volunteer at the local women's shelter. Not really a father but has two dogs. But is afraid to even ask because he is male. How does he go about this? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

I'm purely speculating on this, but it's possible they don't have a good relationship with their father (e.g. could have been abusive to their mother) and they therefore want to do something to help women in similar situations rather than honour their father that day.

Are you sure he didn't already know the order was flipped? This is fairly common for before/after photos to get flipped, but still obvious which picture is actually the "before".
