Soften the PLA with a lighter and then peel it off. You don't need a lot of heat for that.

To add on top of this, we're also in the middle of a pole shift. That weakens the magnetic shield of Earth, which allows for more energy from the Sun to be dumped into the planet. The effects of this are, in part, more active volcanoes and shifting tectonic plates.
People just want to play videogames. How would they know if the anticheat has kernel-level access without going out of their way to research it?
