Yes, but...

Many people on self destructive paths, especially those who are addicted, close themselves off to the perspectives that others can bring. They literally do not see any other path as worthwhile other than the one they've committed themselves to and the thought that another path might be even more worthwhile, or the thought of being judged for their current path, short circuits some decision making.

I believe in autonomy but I also believe many people could use help to find a path that suits them even better.

'Slop' is fine, it's short and to the point and describes something for which we don't quite have another word yet (in the context of AI) and which definitely needs to enter the public consciousness.

Agree on 'Slams' though.

Generally, I agree with you. My partner is a writer and gets accusations thrown at her every time she uses an em-dash. But this article has a lot of GPT-isms, starting from the first paragraph :

At its best, great art direction doesn’t just support a game — it unifies the vision and makes it unforgettable.

I understand and empathize with F-Droid's position in this. An account and key handover took place. It would be a dangerous precedent for F-Droid to unilaterally take the app down without any proof of anything nefarious based on something as nebulous as community rumblings, with no way to verify any of the ill motives ascribed to the actions of the original and new maintainer.
