I have no idea who you're arguing with or what's your point. But have a nice day.

Not only "pedantically", also: strictly. Fuel and maintenance are a significant part of operating an aircraft, and that is what relates to this EV forum.

Perhaps you can find friends on a thread discussing airport and pilot costs instead of EVs. Dismissing the usefulness of electrification on an EV forum makes you look out of line.

Electric aircrafts can be cheaper to run, and therefore available to more people. This relationship is quite simple and straightforward.

Well that’s overcomplicating it quite a bit. Just look at the carbon-based molecules. Lump CO2 and CH4 together. Their ratio can be approximated as a constant over some time so who cares. Part if is from newly extracted fossil material, part of the lot is recycled. That's it.

Enjoy your water.

A fight over nothing. Install a gas pump in my yard and I'll still be driving an EV.

With small airplanes, you get to choose departure time. Electric airplanes can make this affordable to more people.

Scaling means you buy 2 instead of one.

In terms of atmospheric carbon, it's either newly brought up from underground petroleum, or it's recycled from what's already up here. If you care for volcanoes, you can add them as a third source.

Right, and I'm older than the Sony Walkman and that's why I never heard about "internet".

Methane becomes CO2 which is absorbed by plants we eat to produce methane again. Recycling.

"The used EV market is where the consumer math gets most compelling. Average used EV prices have dropped 35% since 2022 to around $34,600"

This is great news. Having more of these in Canada will help mitigate delivery costs, cost of goods, and inflation.

Whoever complains about this is probably a diesel or oil & gas producer, or salesperson.

Eh … now you don’t know what to think huh? πŸ€”πŸ€ͺπŸ˜†
