"Ontario still sliding towards authoritarianism", this and other obvious news at 5.

We need a version of that GIF of Bugs Bunny sawing off Florida, but for Canada.

Give it a few more months. I fully expect the regime to come to the conclusion that deportation flights are too expensive soon, and when the countries they're dumping these folks off at refuse to foot the bill, it's a very short walk towards a "endlösung der Judenfrage" scenario.

That headline is a sentence so white trash I grew a mullet just reading it.

Thank you for being the kind of parent the world should have more of. Kids are dumb but curious by nature, and need a guiding hand to direct them away from misinformation, propaganda, and other toxic things they have no way to discern from truth before they have the experience to tell them apart.

This is at least in large part how the locking down of smartphones began. People either weren't around yet or don't remember how much of a wild west smartphones were for malware, scams, etc. when they first reached mass market uptake. There was a while there where companies were blocking smartphones from their networks because of the security risks.

It took Apple and their closely integrated/walled garden approach and insistence to sway the perception. And that's what other manufacturers then decided to emulate.

Yeah, what game even is this? Serious out of the loop sensation here.

Considering the folks they're most likely to encounter high up north, I think it's safe to say they'd be hunting the wrong folks if the intent is to have them predate the 0.1% who are largely responsible for the current climate disaster. Unless we start airdropping the CEOs of the top polluting companies up north, in which case I am all for it.

I hate how you are probably right. At least regarding the timing of the whole situation.

And Greenland for that matter. Hopefully they learned from jacking off over their history books to equip their troops with winter gear this time, or they'll learn the exact same lessons Napoleon and Adolf did.
