How old is stoßlüften? I know people that are always opening windows and telling their kids to go outside to "blow the stink off" and while they have german ancestry it would be from over a hundred years ago.

For anyone curious, that's a red mangalica; a pig breed from Hungary.

My kid's mini Mardi gras float is due tomorrow, and apparently so is everybody else's.The only hot glue sticks I could find last minute turned out to be too big for our glue gun... in c/diwhy@lemmy.world

If anybody ever needs to melt hotglue without a glue gun try using a hot knife on the glue stick instead of using a direct flame since its less likely to burn or get the glue sooty; just a fair warning its still pretty finnicky.
