The BBC just confirmed that the show will continue and will return with a Christmas special in 2026 penned by showrunner Russell T. Davies.

Good. Let's just put it all behind us and move forward.

Abuse of the NWS has been progressively normalized over the last few decades, and I think we've reached the breaking point.

Saddle up to get the law changed, then.

She also says on several occasions, contractors came into her suite without 24 hours written notice, which the Residential Tenancies Branch requires.

Are these conditions reasonable?

Isn't that a separate issue? If the question is whether the ankle monitors are effective at ensuring people don't breach their conditions, the answer seems to be a clear "no," regardless of what you may think of those conditions.

Those don't sound like very good reasons to ignore your legal obligations.

I'm kind of stunned to see that MTL and WPG have identical records. I guess the fact that a couple of Winnipeg's wins felt like losses has something to do with it.

The Bombers lost Chris Streveler to a potentially career-ending injury in a fairly meaningless game.

Streveler has had serious limitations as a quarterback, which have been on full display this season, but he seems like a great dude, and it sucks to see him go out like that.

And with the BC win over the Riders, Winnipeg is set for a rematch (of sorts) against Montreal as they cross over to the East...

Klingon society is also deeply patriarchal. Women are denied direct inheritance and cannot sit on the High Council.

This seems to have been a relatively recent development (in TNG terms), as Azetbur seemed to be an uncontroversial pick for Chancellor.

And I think it does a disservice to omit Discovery's take on the Klingons, if we're taking about them growing with the audience. They took the feudal aspects and sprinkled in a healthy dose of xenophobia, which directly reflects cultural shifts over the last couple of decades.

I'm begging you all, please report stuff that breaks the community rules and/or TOS - no one needs to put up with that nonsense.

Oh cool, GFR has finally gone mask-off.

This has always been the case, but I'm going to take this opportunity to state that links to that site are not allowed here, and will be removed on sight.
