I suppose I have seen a few niche topic communities in my short time already that haven't updated in a while. I imagine it's hard to get a user base big enough to get consistent posting like on Reddit as this is a relatively new type of platform.

I'm new to fediverse and Lemmy. But why is that something to cry over? Isn't that a good thing?
