Why is it so hard to get hired as a student? (lemmy.ml)

Exactly what the title says. I just really don't understand why it's so damn hard to get hired as a student. I'm trying to become certified. Plenty of hospitals take so much interest and reach out to me because I'm a student, but then I still don't get hired because they're "looking for someone more experienced/certified". It's seriously a paradox that is really wearing me down and making me lose faith in my career.

How do I deal with this career fatigue and loss of faith?

If I try to adjust while the cats are snuggled to me the just try and take up more space so I can't move. I literally can't get rid of them if I have to move.

I agree. All the little bitty addages don't make sense. You can be bi and still have preferences. Just keep it simple gosh dangit.
