I don't think The Hulk is real. I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of things in comic books work. Coudl someone who knows more back me up?

If Trumps tariffs go thru would that not cause the countries the tariffs are imposed on just raise their prices? And a result of that hurt the american consumer? Why do it to begin with? in c/explainlikeimfive@lemmy.world

Before WW1 many people left the area because they didn't want anything to do with war. The area became more "hawkish" let's say. Before WW2 many people left the area because they didn't want anything to do with ANOTHER war. Also, some of them were literally being persecuted. The remaining people trended towards a certain persuasion.

When Elmo bought Xwitter people left. Guess who remained? When he invited the racists back, guess who remained? When he invited the banned people back, guess who remained?

Xwitter has always been shit, but when you cut the corn and peanuts out it's all shit.

Why does it seem the world is all of a sudden concerned about sexual orientation? Especially America. Did I miss how far we came as a society to see it take a 40 year step backwards? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

I am so glad games improved from this.

I could not get into it at all, while Doom and Doom 2 are still quite fine.
