Eating meat also means lots of animals have to suffer just for yout pleasure. I know people get triggert real fast if you mention how bad eating meat really is. It's like a drug for some people.

If a white dude would say this, the prople getting triggered right now wouldn't even care. The post wouldn't even get that many upvotes. Most people are getting triggered because it's a woman saying it.
It's not really that complicated. I think most people feel that we shouldn't toruture animals. It's just that a small part realize what is happening to the animals that we eat and they don't want to be part of that system anymore. The others just look away but they actually feel the same about how we should treat animals. "Animal Rights People" are not some "hard to understand" people.
