There are plenty of things besides the president on ballots though. In fact, I would argue those are even more impactful to your life than any of the federal candidates.

I was talking about all the state and local candidates on elections, not to mention judges and other things. Everyone should vote. It's the bare minimum. Not to mention the primaries.

Chicago does have some amazing Mexican food though! To be fair, I haven't had any in Nevada, but I would imagine it's comparable?

You can pretty easily export Org mode files to markdown (and LaTeX)! There may be a setting you need to turn on (I forget and I'm not at my PC), but it works well and is very easy to use.

Also, I haven't really done it, but from what I understand you can also setup emacs to be a really good LaTeX editor.

They are very similar concepts, but Guix is configured using Scheme (specifically GNU Guile), instead of the crazy nixos language.
