  1. Accidentally letting a "that guy" join for a session before having to them they can't play with my group anymore.

  2. I tried to do a time loop in Monsters of the Week (but I doubt the system would matter in this case) and it just turned into a repetitive slog that ended the campaign.

I know this is cliche, but it took a long time for me to truly believe that asking for help/going to therapy/trying medication was not a sign of weakness or being "a sissy"

Hi there, Apologies for such a long post.

I have an employee with autism who let me know it can be really difficult to call out for work when they are experiencing a verbal shutdown and was wondering if there was a more accessible way to communicate when calling out.

Right now, We use a single phone number to call out because all managers and schedulers have access to it where due to permissions not everyone had access to the same email accounts, and we are unable to create new email accounts.

Normally I would say just text me or email me, however if I am off there is a real chance if the text or email getting missed.

Would it be weird to suggest something like recording a message what he can play into the phone, or having a friend/SO call out on his behalf, or even just knocking 3 times and letting the other managers and schedulers know that it means he is calling out?

Also If you have other ideas l'm all ears.

I've never heard of Daggerheart. I'll have to check it out! Especially because d12s get no love in 5e.

A part of the charm in Dungeon Crawl Classics is the swingy randomness.

Dungeon Crawl Classics. Definitely worth checking out.

It's a TTRPG by Goodman Games and it's actually a lot of fun. Two gimmicks that the game is known for is using oddly shaped dice (d5, d7, d30) and the funnel. A level 0 adventure where characters who survive become level 1 characters.
