Biar bisnis oligarki untung terus, maka dipaksalah negara membeli komoditas dari AS. Beginilah kebijakan yang keluar saat pengusaha yang jadi pemerintahnya. Mereka lebih mementingkan keuntungan perusahaan daripada kepentingan rakyat. Mereka tidak berpikir dua kali untuk membeli komoditas dari luar negeri, padahal Indonesia memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan industri nasional sendiri.

Bukannya membantah dengan menaikkan tarif impor demi membangun industrialisasi nasional serta UMKM, malah mau borong produksi AS untuk menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia siap dijadikan tempat jajah produk asing. Kan, kek gitu? Mereka tidak peduli bahwa dengan membeli komoditas dari luar negeri, Indonesia kehilangan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan industri nasional sendiri, yang dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan pendapatan rakyat. Mereka hanya memikirkan keuntungan perusahaan, bukan kepentingan rakyat.

Melalui Menteri Koordinator bidang Perekonomian, Airlangga Hartarto, pemerintah menawarkan berbagai keistimewaan untuk AS.

Di antara tawaran itu, pemerintah akan meningkatkan pembelian sejumlah komoditas dari AS, yakni pangan dan energi yang berbentuk minyak mentah dan bensin.
