I found something similar, the AI seems to constantly go on and on with multiple phrases, even when I just give it a single line of dialogue in response. I've tried many things--telling the AI in character that it talks too much, adding character descriptions and writing instructions which tell the AI to have only one line of dialogue per response, even feeding it writing instructions like "Mike realizes he's talking too much and needs to say less in response," and it still goes on and on with long paragraphs of nervous chatter.
