They do work though. The bread and circus game of the US is strong and does prove to be ample distraction from the current fascist takeover.

The dismantling of NATO, all of the "soft power" has gone down the drain, the US being subservient to Russia. It has basically already happened. We are just waiting for everyone to acknowledge it, because every leader in the Western world are desperately clinging to a world view which no longer exists.

It was open to interpretation from the very beginning. Exemplified in the fact that the four canonically approved gospels (we will ignore all the non-canon gospels) are contradicting each other in various ways.

Fine if you choose the interpretation in your comment, but perhaps it would be even better not to let your life be ruled by what random persons made up in their fan fiction 2000 years ago?

The first step would be opening an encyclopedia. A lot of households actually had an encyclopedia on their shelves for this very reason. Something which these "pre-internet" rumination threads always seems to neglect.

There is no single entity of Christianity, and there are certainly some denominations of Christianity which does work like that.
