Rep. Tim Burchett, another congressional leading voice on UFO transparency, has not directly addressed the specific briefing but has repeatedly hinted that what lawmakers are seeing behind closed doors is far more significant than what the public has been told.

A classified UAP briefing quietly took place inside a secure congressional facility (or a SCIF) on March 25, according to Rep. Eric Burlison, who described the session as one of the most bipartisan topics in Washington. Burlison has been vocal about demanding transparency and cutting through the misinformation around what must be classified. He posted a statement on April 7: “Contrary to what you may have heard, Congress can lawfully receive classified UFO information. No one has been imprisoned, let alone prosecuted or sued, for disclosing classified information to Members of Congress in a secure setting.”

The closed-door meeting comes as scrutiny intensifies around the bizarre disappearance of retired Air Force General Neil McCasland, an aerospace insider who holds significant knowledge related to unidentified phenomena. While neither the FBI nor the White House has publicly made any statement connecting the recently reported mysterious deaths or disappearances of multiple scientists in the aerospace field, the patterns have been hard to ignore.

A March 25 congressional meeting in a SCIF is now at the center of a growing mystery involving classified intelligence, vanishing scientists, and demands for disclosure

And just how would the city provide housing units? Do you think that would solve the problem. Have you looked at what happens most of the time when homeless people occupy something? Would you offer your place up?

Well, easy solution: open source the algorithms and we’ll check.

Soooo much this! Yes!

I always hated LinkedIn, even back when I was in the corporate world. Apparently, there's still good reasons to hate it!

Good points. Unless you look into the rumors surrounding Baskins ex-husband. And didn't Maldonado kill himself by playing around w a gun and it being accidental? It was shown on camera.

I'm not defending Joe Exotic, by the way. From the documentaries, all of the private big animal collectors were crazy. and the "Doc" guy, with his harem, just got caught up in a scandal too

Oh, then sorry for my snark. I thought you were coming at me in a sarcastic way. Sorry! My bad!

Meh, the more I read about .world and the non-stop arguing that goes on there, I just don't wanna be part of it. I'm kinda over the whole political divide thing overall too.

I'm not really into politics and most of Lemmy seems to be really be into it. I just wanna stay neutral from now on.

There are just so many people on Lemmy that seem to want to be and stay mad about everything. It's tiring. I don't know how they all stay mad for so long. lol So I'm staying away from instances and conversations that have to do with politics moving forward. Plus I have some competitions I'm training for, so I gotta stay focused.

Thanks for your clarification and sorry for my earlier attitude with ya!

I deleted all of comments in every thread on lemmy.world because I don’t like the instance, people's replies were getting too rabid and toxic, and I didn't want take part in any conversations on that instance anymore.

As for this comment, notice I didn’t delete it, because it’s not on .world.

EDITED: I was leaning into my snarky reply too much. :)
