This is why the layoffs on Google's Android team were good, and proof that they weren't deep enough.

Signed, a pissed off ex-Android developer

This is actually pretty good, which is surprising for Far Side

According to the article they already did

“The team that runs our ultra-low-cost Amazon Haul store considered the idea of listing import charges on certain products. This was never approved and is not going to happen,” said Tim Doyle, Amazon spokesperson.

Lmao some poor team gets thrown under the bus

Eh. He's done more for Linux than you, I, or anyone else in this thread for that matter.

This is a "security" feature and I'm so tired of it. Same thing with Wayland, random crap doesn't work sometimes

Psst .. the first KDE app you installed via your package manager also put "the entirety of KDE" onto your system.

Honestly I started looking into it (found some articles from 2017 where he showed Nazi imagery) and started asking myself wtf am I doing.

Calling people Nazis over the tamest crap is so old. I'm so done with the liberal crowd on Lemmy jerking each other off over simplistic issues. Get a grip.

Super glad you have something that works for you. Tylenol on it's own doesn't cure my migraines either (I only use it for regular headaches), but Tylenol + Advil cures my migraines (whereas each on their own don't do squat)

FYI this game is still alive. There's people playing multiplayer every weekend (myself included): https://www.bfmeladder.com/

Anyone else feel this way?

If I have one thing upcoming later in the day, I have a bit of stress. Not because it's particularly difficult or anything, but the constant self-reminder, questioning if I'm prepared, or fear I'm going to miss it.

If it's something habitual like school or work that's fine, but if it's a little bit outside your comfort zone, it really adds up.

Tomorrow I have a call to work out a business idea with the client of a friend before work, a presentation at work, and then a networking meeting after lunch, followed up by a mock interview for a friend in the evening. On the weekend I have a hike planned, and I've got an interview Monday morning. My girlfriend is preparing for interviews too, and I'm headed for a 3 week workaction/PTO trip to see her in Korea at the end of the month. I'm feeling strangely stressed. But it seems the stress level is a simple aggregation over all the upcoming events.

See this thread as an example. Looks great on Lemmy UI, but in Boost it's hard to read: https://latta.ai/ourmission/

Edit: I'm an idiot that's the wrong link
