This article is an ad...

I think you're missing a lot of the context here.

The collective agreement means that 3.5% of GDP will be spent on defense and 1.5% on defense related measures (cybersecurity, infrastructure security etc.). It applies to all countries in the alliance, including the US.

The US already spends around 3.5% on defense according to Reuters and there is no requirement to use US manufacturers over others.

I am not saying increasing defence spending is a good thing, just that you or the headlines have misinterpreted the agreement.

I mean this was always the case, right? Just the headline is making people think the alliance is falling apart.

Article 5 only says all parties will take "...such actions as deemed necessary...to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area."

Looks good, but charges a standard 10% booking fee which seems very steep imo. But I'm a cheap ass...

It's additionally funny because the title on the webpage doesn't pick up the 2nd "the".

Post-birth screening is already very widely utilised in most western countries.

While the fuck cars sentiment is as important as always, planning rules like this have a few goals which aren't all so malicious, including stopping projects decoupling their parking space and selling it for extra, or avoiding 30+ cars all over the sidewalks once everyone is moved in.

Planning codes tend to try and anticipate a community's immediate vicinity needs. The best approach though would be "$x000 per unit to provide and maintain local public transport facilities and routes"

That is a lot of baggage to be carrying. I'm sorry for everything you're all going through.

If you want blind judgement on the situation... If "I went on a date that went nowhere when we were broken up" is a "confession" that will end your relationship, then sorry but it's already dead IMO. This should be a non-issue at all times.

Thanks for this.

Is this really an ADHD thing?

As per title, I'd like to see if anyone has any decent kids movies they would like to share. I'm getting sick of watching Disney.

Maybe include in your suggestion/s your recommended age range, if you think it's necessary.

We have finally reached the point where we no longer have enough space to dry our clothes indoors, and will need to invest in a dryer.

We have a washing machine in our bathroom (also small) so the dryer would ideally go under/over that.

Does anyone have experience building or buying an appropriate stand? The dryer and washing machine will likely weigh about 50-60kgs each.

I have a mech engineering background and have been tasked to look into electromagnetic product design in the coming years.

Before I dive deep and tackle this change, I would like a refresher on electromagnetic radiation, especially low power applications. Massive bonus points if there are any resources which include regulation too.

Anyone got any worthwhile resources?

I'm looking for a book (preferably eBook) which explains one or more engineering projects in great detail.

Anyone have any recommendations?
