You can get by pretty well with just English in Scandinavia, Britain, and Ireland. Many of the big cities also have a lot of English speakers.

The easiest way to move is if you can find a job or have a lot of money to invest. Also sometimes possible to get citizenship through your family. I'd recommend hunting for jobs on LinkedIn if you're in a specialized field, or see if there are any offices near you for a European company.

If none of that is possible for you, I would recommend moving to a large left-wing city with good trains like NYC, Philadelphia, Portland, etc. They'll be closer culturally to Europe, less vulnerable to fascism, and may give you more job opportunities toward Europe in the long run.

Nobody wants to see your Biden photo album, buddy.

How many times did Biden brag about sexually molesting women? How many women have accused Biden of sexual misconduct or abuse? "creepiest and most pedo president of all time" is completely wrong.

If you are not organized, your only options are voting for the most progressive of the top two candidates in elections/primaries, or apathy. (voting third party is apathy)

Join your local DSA chapter and help them make more Zohrans.

Yeah, but the idea that respecting a woman's due process isnt allowed in abortion cases because it allows abortion is insane. Abortion hasn't been solidified as a right like the Trumpists argued. Due process is.

That's exactly the argument that Roe v Wade made.

We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, in this point in the development of man's knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer.

A state criminal abortion statute of the current Texas type, that excepts from criminality only a life-saving procedure on behalf of the mother, without regard to pregnancy stage and without recognition of the other interests involved, is violative of the (due process rights of the mother).

When Trump's activist judges overturned it, they argued that not criminalizing abortion gave women rights that the constitution did not explicitly protect(?)

Because according to incompetent/corrupt Trump judges, that's how the constitution works now.

My man, race is a social construct. Skin pigment doesn't care if you're from Mexico or from China, it's literally the same color.

Define sex.

It says sex, but it's actually about gender. It makes it difficult or dangerous for nonbinary people to travel internationally.

That's really interesting, I wouldn't have assumed that given the passenger counts on trains, the longer lifespan of the equipment, and the increased passenger/personnel ratio.

I guess train maintenance can be more expensive than bus maintenance, though bus engines require more complex maintenance as far as I know. I guess the capital costs of the vehicles and the rails maybe outweigh tee capital costs of the buses.

Decades of underinvestment.

It's great that they offer the service at all, but it's impossible to get reasonable service renting a freight rail line that goes the wrong way, while the freight company does everything they can to make Amtrak service worse to maximize shareholder value. Amtrak needs to own its own rails if we want trains to be faster than buses or flying.
