Curiosity has been stamped out during high school for most people. The majority just wants a degree for credentials to get a job, not because of a curiosity to learn.

In the US.

As with most things I have a "in the moment" preference. I'm not gonna be sad if they're as OP described or very brown and sweet, but I'll have a "man, I would have rather have them this way" and what way that is is different from time to time. Can have one or several hours, days, weeks or months of preferring one kind then it'll just change. Generally like change and things to be different rather than the same all the time.

Not at all.

Gotta say it's nice to be at a place online where half the comments aren't "obviously fake! Fake news! Everyone who believes this is a brainwashed sheep!" and so on, which they would (and I'm sure are) on Reddit, Youtube, Facebook etc. Not a single one here, it feels good.

Why would you need to run fast? You could go as slow as possible and still see it, just slower.
