By that rote though everyone that has had children in the past has cared for their future and the future of the social and actual environment they will inherit. We wouldn’t be having this discussion if any semblance of that was true.

Lots of libraries use the Libby app to reserve and “borrow” ebooks, and it does indeed give them to your kindle library for the loan period. Your specific system may be different, but I’d check it out.

It’s more a game of building a small civilization while dealing with extenuating circumstances, like increasing cold weather, a lack of resources, a combative populace, and random things like extra survivors that appear, etc. Well worth the money if you enjoy those sorts things of games.
