The Nokia 7110 was possibly the coolest dumbphone.

I think the iPhone X may have been peak smartphone in terms of aesthetics, but I’ve never tried a folding phone.

So did Kirk not give a crap about the Temporal Prime Directive, or was he the reason it was written…?

Atlantis begins after season seven and runs in parallel with season eight. A fairly big plot device from the SG1 season eight finale is then used in the Atlantis season one finale.

In the UK I’d suggest anyone who owns their own home get solar panels, a battery and some form of air conditioning (if not a full heat pump/boiler replacement) ASAP.

You can’t directly stop the government doing terrible things, but you can dramatically slash your own energy bills and make sure you can survive heat waves in comfort.

No. But we’re not trying to encourage people to drive more motorcycles.

We want to reduce the barrier to someone using a pedal bike, and if they have to fart around trying to find a helmet or worry about getting a ticket, they’re more likely to just not bother and use a car instead.

No. Obviously I think if you can wear them you should, but making them required reduces the willingness of people to cycle, so as a strategy for swapping from car to bike, it is less effective.
