"New EA owners somehow even MORE out of touch than current owners"

[–] Kraiden@piefed.social 21 points 1 month ago (5 children)

 The EA logo might as well already be a big red stamp "DO NOT BUY!" Not like I could give them any LESS money

Is that the guy with the obsession with Guiness World Records?

edit: yup

What? No chance we beat the Americans, or the Australians for that matter. The current government are car brained morons, and I can't really speak for the other major cities but I lived in Wellington for over 10 years without a car and it was fine. I know more people without cars than with them

If you're so repressed that you can't handle your fictional character lying next to a fictional male character, then that's honestly nobody's problem but your own. Go to therapy.

Ha ha ha, ye this caused a lot of "problems" early on (read: trolled a lot of homophobes) so much so that they updated the UI for that section to include a picture of the doll. I thought they did it deliberately and thought it was hilarious

I can guilty of this for sure. I try not to, but it's hard sometimes. It's just too easy to see the orphan crushing machine.

I should really go back to therapy, come to think of it

Look, on second reading it makes more sense, but The Guardian should really know better than to start a headline with "Doctor Who" and not expect people to go "Damn, that show is getting more risque by the episode"

This reminds me of when I worked in a cold call center (I'm sorry, I had to eat) and I got to the C's...

I got halfway through the Cockburns (apparently it's "c-oh burn") before someone corrected my pronunciation. I can't imagine what highschool must have been like for that family

I wonder if they're aware how their aggressive copyright stance is making them be perceived, or if they just don't care.

I'm guessing it's the latter
