Rolo pretzel turtles for me.

Lay out some mini pretzel twists on a baking sheet with parchment paper and top each with a Rolo candy.

Put in a low oven for maybe 6-10 minutes, until the Rolos are soft but not melted.

Then quickly press a pecan on top of each one right when they come out, then let cool.

I've also done it with animal crackers and almonds.

If you make butter first, then add to the goodies, just make the butter, then make your best guess about a serving, and give that to your friend on a cracker or toast or something and ask them if it's the right strength, then go from there.

If the friend normally only smokes, they may not even know how many MG they want in an edible, so a tester is probably the best way to know.

Then when you find the right dosage, just times by 12, and add that amount to a batch of goodies, and cut into 12 pieces.

I've also used a Mason jar with a lid for smaller amounts. Almost no smell, and you can shake it in the jar to stir too. Just take it outside or elsewhere before opening the jar. Also put it on a towel on the oven rack to cushion it.

Try and change how you feel about it. Instead of your daughter being an impediment to your chore, instead, you get to spend some quality time with her. Treat it like a daddy/daughter outing to look forward to. Stop and get yourselves a small treat so you're not hangry. Talk to her as you shop. Let her make a few small choices. Does she want carrot sticks or pepper strips for snack, white or orange cheese, red or green apples? Have her check things off your list, or just a pretend one, depending on her age.

Keeping her involved will keep her from being as much trouble and keep her entertained for longer. And you get to make nice memories with her instead of being annoyed.

And if things break down, grab the most important things first, and you can order the rest and try another day.
