I'm one of the rare defenders of Enterprise mostly because I just really like Bakula in the role of a gruffer, more inherently American early Captain, so while I hate all these prequels and midquels and stuff they keep pumping out, I would probably watch if Bakula reprised the role.

This whole album is really great, I was blown away they are still putting out such quality in this day and age, made me go back and listen to the prior couple albums I had missed which were nearly as good.

I had exactly the same thought, please for the love of God do not recruit Lamb to run against Fetterman. I never really trusted Fetterman or any "cult of personality" type politician, but the only reason I wanted him to become a Senator was to keep Lamb from reviving the Blue Dog wing of the Senate.

Defiance, Ohio has been on regular rotation for me since last fall for reasons that probably don't need to be explained if you've ever listened to them.

"Queen" has historically often been used as a slur against specifically gay men in American culture, the OP's context is an example of that.

Yeah, as an American (the South, even) I can tell you that somebody angrily calling a gay couple queens if she is not herself part of the LGBTQIA+ community would not generally be something accepted here. It is a term many queer people embrace for themselves, but is still often used as a slur by an aging populace and not something a straight cis person should say.

As a Virginian, I absolutely feel the pain of New Jersey Democrats. The way the party always shits its pants with awful centrists the second they lose a national election...

An absolute classic!

This is a classic, love Mark Hollis so much but particularly partial to the jazzy, experimental fragile proto-post-rock soundscapes that came on the Talk Talk or solo albums that followed.

Always thought it was ironic that a guy who wrote a song called "Airplanes" would become a Flat Earther

This album meant so much to me when it came down and I still have most of the lyrics to most of the songs memorized to day, but quite frankly I am not at all a "separate the art from the artist" person, I believe the artist fundamentally imprints themselves in all of their art and however minor I'm never going to do something to financially support somebody with Kanye's views and statements, so I just simply do not listen to any Kanye anymore and if I did it would be via torrent.

Easily one of the absolute best songs of the early college rock era of indie/alternative rock.
