It's cute that he thinks there will be an election in 2028, or ever again, for that matter.

If he acted like that on camera, imagine what he's like behind closed doors.

My 8 favorite demos from Steam Next Fest, including Promise Mascot Agency, Wanderstop, Demon Tides, and more! The quality of these demos are getting better with each Next Fest and I found some truly great demos this time around. There's something here for everyone: 3D platformers, tactical RPGs, puzzle games, and even a cosplay game.

I'm in the same boat. I quit watching right before they came out as trans because their videos were the same thing every week. "Video game industry bad, publishers bad." Which is a message I agree with, 100%, but when that's literally all you say in every video its hard not to lose interest.

I forgot about them after that for a few years and was admittedly surprised by the change. Things seem to be rough for them lately, getting a divorce and moving to a new city right before COVID. I want to support them, but I watched their latest videos and it was exactly the same as before I quit. Nothing content-wise had changed.

I think a big part of that is that video game criticism really has evolved since then. Folks like shaun, hbomberguy, and many others share the same philosophy and ideas as JSS, but offer so much more depth than the "video games bad!" ranting that JSS has never been able to get beyond.

She'll just blame Democrats and the left, somehow.

I've played some pretty great indie games lately, and instead of peppering your subscription feed with a million videos, I thought it'd be better to put them all in once place. From Utopia Must Fall to Blade Chimera, I've played a bunch of great indie games, demos, and prototypes.

Funny enough, when the USSR split up, Ukraine did have nukes, briefly. It was, you guessed it, the US that convinced them to give all their warheads to Russia.

IGF - the Independent Games Festival, part of GDC - is a yearly event dedicated to showing the best new and upcoming indie games. The finalists for this year's awards were recently announced, and I had to play some of them for myself. As usual, they knocked it out of the park with some truly great indie games.

Ruffy and the Riverside is an upcoming 3D platformer with a unique gameplay mechanic. I got the chance to play new demo early and got to try this unique feature firsthand, and experience the game's gorgeous art and animations as well.

Death of the Reprobate is an absurdist comedy from Joe Richardson, creator of The Procession to Calvary. Using actual medieval paintings, this is a point and click adventure game that is absolutely hilarious and worth a try.

2015 might be the biggest and most important year for indie games. It was the first time that multiple major indies released in a single year. Developers and publishers established themselves. Several big Kickstarter games released. And studios would have critical success but financial flops that would force them to be sold later down the line. We are still feeling the effects of 2015 ten years later.

That's the key. With these ECs and the pardons, Trump's lackies are free to do whatever they want, using these as an excuse. If anything does happen to them, Trump made it clear he'll pardon them. and if Trump is scrutinized, he's got the SC on his side who just gave the president unlimited power. And if push comes to shove, he'll just pardon himself.

There is literally nothing holding him accountable anymore. Nothing and no one.

And it's day fucking 1! We still have (at least) four more YEARS of this!

I'm reminded of Trump's first term, when we all thought it couldn't possibly get any worse, and yet it always did keep getting worse.

It's one thing knowing it's going to happen, it's going to be something else entirely when it does.

It's like knowing you're going to die. We all "know" our day is coming, but we don't really appreciate that until we get old or someone close to us passes away.

I want to live in a world where the EU bans Google, but we all know the EU will just roll over and accept this.

It was never about "theft." That hyped "theft" up as a cover to hide their own inept management.

Harris' messaging problem is the same problem Hilary Clinton had in 2016. Instead of appealing to the base, she went after Republicans and just assumed the left would be on board. The Democratic establishment does this every time, move closer to the center and right and tell the leftists shut up and go away.
