Politicians should focus on why we should elect them rather than why we shouldn't elect the other guy. This middle-school clique politicking has been incredibly detrimental, and the longer it goes on, the worse things will get. The whole "get a message out in 3 seconds" aspect is partly to blame, and we as citizens need to own up to the fact that we collectively are responsible for this crap, as our habits have indicated that we dont want "long form" even when something like that is important to have and to be able to accurately convey information.

"Space is an unsustainable environemnt" - what a weird headline for something that basically says "we need to do better about taking care of trash in orbit of Earth".

I mean, based on the headline, you'd think they're making a wildly bold claim.

Meh, more inane rules that result in random bans for silly reasons. I mean hey, you do you, but dont expect the general public wandering in from various wide feeds such as the equivalent of all/new to know, let alone respect those rules.

No real harm, but it's one more account to manage/worry about.

Flipside is that relying on a singular account is also bad, as now it's a single point of failure in regards to security.

Hilarious that "cracker" is used in a derogatory manner. Especially given it's origins.

Because defacing an ancient site has a clear connection to the environment... bunch of fucking self-centered attention-whores.

Yeah, it wasn't a solution; they just have no idea WTF they're doing in regards to the game's simulation.

In theory, whomever is running the ad pays per click or w/e. In practice, it does nothing but expose your own system to potential risk.

No pricing information on the site at least not without signing up for an account. The whole site looks like one of those 5 minute wordpress hackjobs so that combined with lack of relevant info front and center... yeah, this is probably a scam at best, and a way to harvest personal info at worst.

Also "big upfront expense of buying a bike upfront"... mate... you can score a perfectly fine, working bicycle for a tenner. So pushing a "lease" on multi-thousand dollar bikes is just yet another way to nickel-and-dime people with a "service" that there's zero need for.

As probably a generic "dude" as one can be, I like playing female characters because it gives me a chance to be someone I'm not. I play games to remove myself from the real world for a bit, and playing a male character feels too much like self-insertion.

It's weird, but being forced into playing from a "self" perspective I find to be less enjoyable. I like being told a story, and getting to participate in it, but I dont like when the story feels like it's supposed to be about myself, rather than a character.
