Because as of now their main financial structure isnt based on selling personal information for ads. They make most there money selling products and services. And I think trust isn’t the right word. Apple is normally the least shitty out of all the shitty big tech companies with modern day convenience.

How have you been trying to buy one? They are on there website and on/in Bestbuy. Do you live somewhere where they aren’t available?
I believe that is all part of the OS and not anything a launcher can do. Unless you disable it at a system level and then have a launcher that was setup to display a custom similar menu when you did the swipe gesture. But I still think it would only work on the home screen and not inside any apps.
