just setup a fresh windows 10 vm with qemu. unfortunately im having the exact same issue. it opens, i connect the controller, it closes/crashes

it tried doing that at first but it requires .net 8 to even run and to be honest im not familiar enough with wine to be able to install multiple programs to the same wine prefix

i want to update the firmware on my dualsense controller and installed the necessary app on a vm. it opens but when i plug in the controller the app seems to crash. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting but it keeps crashing. does anyone have any potential fixes?

My switch was recently banned, which isn't an issue for me since I don't play online, however something happened where my physical copy of pokemon violet was either corrupted due to a console update or the game was mid update and my switch reset itself.

When I try to open the game it tells me to connect to the internet to verify the game files for missing data. Since my switch is banned I am unable to connect to the internet in the first place. My question is how would I go about fixing this issue, assuming the game card or save file is affected.

Hi everyone, I've run into an odd issue that I've been trying to fix for about a week now. Four of the mods I use don't seem to load when I run the game. I've reinstalled them and the visual redistributable stuff multiple times. I've even gone so far as to uninstall Skyrim and MO2 for linux and redownload everything. I can load into the game just fine and the mods appear in MCO but i cant adjust the settings and they dont function. If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

Hi everyone. Hyprland is doing this thing where when I change to a different workspace, everything on the non-visible workspaces drop in performance.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue since I'm assuming hyprland does this to save resources for what you're currently looking at. The issue is that Elden Ring sees this sudden drop in performance as an FPS issue and kicks me out of online play due to unstable FPS. For example, I'll be playing on workspace 3, then I'll look something up on my browser in workspace 1. After about 5 or 10 seconds Elden Ring will give me a pop up saying that I've been logged out due to FPS instability.

Is there a way to disable this performance drop for a specific workspace?
