I agree, I don't think there's anything Sony can do about the cost. Manufacturing costs aren't going down over time like they used to in the past. That's why there haven't been any price cuts this gen.

I think the PS5 Pro was just a doomed concept to begin with. There's nothing they could do to make games look noticeably better without making the console outrageously expensive or requiring devs to do an unreasonable amount of work to support it.

Yeah I've noticed that there are far fewer job postings these days than there were a few months ago.

This is a misleading headline. The survey question asked if you know any friends OR CLASSMATES who have generated AI nudes. If just one kid in a large school generates AI nudes and a lot of other kids find out about it, then those kids will answer yes on this survey. So this statistic doesn't do a good job of indicating exactly how widespread this is.

As someone who actually bought this game, I can confirm that it's not good. The main issue is that there's not nearly enough content to be worth the $40 price tag. It just has a few PvP game modes and that's it. It's basically like paying $40 just to play the PvP portion of Destiny, except worse because you don't get to build your own character.

Very mysterious. I wonder if she knew what the baggage room was for, or if she just wandered in there. Hoping we'll find out more details.

I'm not into celebrity gossip, but from what I can tell based on people I've seen who are into it, I think it's less about the celebrities themselves and more about enjoying gossip in general. If you and your friends are really into gossip, but you don't have anything new to say about people you know in real life, you can gossip about celebrities instead. It's just a thing you can enjoy talking about despite not having any actual connection to it.

I'm 32, I bought a cassette at the last concert I went to. (I generally prefer vinyl, but I don't wanna buy a vinyl before a show starts cuz then I have to awkwardly hold it for the whole show)

I don't normally listen to much pop music, so I know I'm a bit late to the party on this one. But I've noticed that in modern pop music, artists will sometimes release a "normal" version of a song, then a few weeks later they'll release the same song again, except one of the verses is replaced with a feature. It's not a remix, it's just the same song but with another artist singing some different lyrics.

Is there a name for this type of song? How long has this been going on? When was this trend started?

I'm confused, does this mean that an ad can show the URL "google.com" even though clicking on it will take you to a different URL? Why doesn't Google just make it so that the ad shows the actual URL that the ad links to?

It's impossible to predict which new multiplayer games will be successful and which ones won't. It's so risky for developers to even try making them nowadays. Even games that seem successful at first (like The Finals and XDefiant) struggle to maintain much interest over time.

Anyways, I like Overwatch but I've gotten bored with it over the past few years, so I'm potentially interested in Concord. I'll keep an eye on it. (I was aware that there was a beta, but I thought it was pre-order only so I didn't check it out)

No spoilers

I loved FF7 Remake, but Rebirth is really not doing it for me. My main issue with it is the story. It feels totally aimless. Almost nothing meaningful has happened in the entire 35 hours I've played. Also, I find most of the characters to be very annoying. The dialogue and cinematography are awkward. (Why are there so many uncomfortable close-ups of characters faces? Why do the female characters keep giggling for no reason? Tifa and Aerith don't seem to know each other very well but they sure like to giggle to each other.)

I do love the combat system though. And the open world stuff is often enjoyable. But it doesn't make up for how the story feels like such a slog.

Does anyone else feel this way? I was expecting to love this game after loving Remake so much, but honestly at this point I'm just forcing myself to finish the game so I can make sure I'm caught up for part 3.

Hi, I'm trying to find YouTube channels that make videos like this: https://youtu.be/bCQMHjDAJZU

Basically I want channels that cover new/upcoming games, talking about them in a casual and unscripted way. I like these videos because they're a great way to stay informed on current games.

Giant Bomb used to be known for making videos like this, but unfortunately they stopped making them. Game Informer's "New Gameplay Today" videos are basically the same thing, but I'd like to find a channel that makes videos like this a bit more frequently. Do you guys know of any channels like this? Thanks

The rumor is that Metroid Prime 2 and 3 are going to get straightforward ports on Switch, not remastered. Which is fine by me cuz I just want an excuse to play those games again.

When do you guys think the ports will be announced? I'm no marketing strategist, but I feel like it would be important to release the games while Metroid Prime Remastered is still relevant and people still have the game fresh in their minds. So I feel like now would be a good time to release them. Unless they're planning on waiting until MP4 is revealed, in which case we're going to be waiting a while.
