15% of Americans would tell you the earth is hollow and a race of horse people lives down there, if the question asked about it.
Unless they had rich parents, they also have mid-6-figures in debt, so things get a bit esoteric at that point. Money flows in and out very fast, and if there's an interruption, everything can fall apart very fast. Also higher chance they have a substance use disorder and unhappy marriage. The average internist or general practitioner makes $144k a year, which is less than a lot of ICE agents now (who might actually be trying to arrest them). All in all, mixed bag, and I have friends I wish would have NEVER become doctors because it's killing them slowly.
I was one of a small segment that used Covid not to fall down the ladder of alcohol abuse but to get sober and clean totally, and the ensuing mortgage pause saved my house, and I didn't lose anyone - so my memories and impression of Covid is a lot rosier than some folks.
Actually during the weird week of 9/11, everyone was in a daze, and I used that to slip back into society which I had dropped out of for a year, staying in my apartment. Everyone's in shell shock the next day, and my PTSD brain is just humming along like normal, it was like I had a superpower. I kind of have a history of using national emergencies to climb back out of holes.
Purple, green, pinks and oranges (that's the blood in my eyelids I think). If I rub my eyes, the pixellated screensavers get wild, which I think means you're not supposed to do that.
We have this in the gay community but not with hands
Oh my GOD i hated this as a kid - why is there a light just for me if I can't use it? And then I was driving my 3yo son the other night, and he's like "turn the lights on" and as I was explaining to him why I wouldn't, it struck me... the cycle is complete
Trump was worth like $6.3 billion last summer, now he's worth less than $1b. Just something fun to think about. Hard to make and lose that much imaginary money but he did it.
The redacting has already occurred when Trump tasked the Justice Department with it, now it's in too many hands to be edited by one person. Senate committees and judges. The redacting that did happen was obviously not very thorough or else they were busy erasing really bad shit. Don't look for the guys Trump hired to have been very good at their jobs.
Trump's actually weak for once, this is one of several spears in his soft disgusting underbelly. Redistricting is not looking good all of a sudden, Texas's map was rejected but California's might yet stand, oops! Self inflicted wound there. So now he's suddenly being perceived as a lame duck because, how's he supposed to get a third term without Congress on his side?
Once they feel like the ground is soft, his entire party will run to a better camp... notice how other leaders are setting up big tents right now... his only threat is his ability to primary people, but that'll be gone in an instant when public perception slides out of his control. Trump is trying to stay ahead of it right now, playing it the usual way.
This article is just Jeff's brother trying to get his 15 minutes of fame. Bet he's got a book deal brewing. I do like that the media is showing this idea to people tho, lots of idiots read People.
Tl;dr I am not worried about it so much, Trump's undoing may be right at hand.
What am I, some sort of pupae expert!?
She's also derivative as hell, but children's lit doesn't get real deep reviews, and we were all too busy defending it from Christianity to really notice.
Yeah this halloween mask of a person is very well aware of who she's been playing with this whole time, she just thinks now is the time to cut bait on MAGA and set herself up as a new voice.
Just like the 17th century villagers she originally terrorized did, we gotta get the incantations just right for this one to go away.
