One step at a time...he was the most progressive pope ever...let's keep it up!

Totally agree - he really tried to modernize the church as best he could. Apparently he stacked the cardinals with numerous progressives so hopefully they can keep the momentum up!

Yes, that's his small 2 room suite in the Vatican guesthouse (not the palace). For comparison, this article shows the difference between his quarters, the palace, and the homes of some arch bishops.

ETA: 2 room, not 2 bedroom suite.

Disclaimer: not religious at all...but in all fairness to Pope Francis, he was a Jesuit, rejected living in the grand Papal apartment, and chose to live in a super simple 2 room apartment. The first pope to ever do so.

Wonder what GrapheneOS' take on this will be...lots of people don't use biometric authentication/always have location turned off.

Glad it helped! I just factory reset my Sony Bravia the other day so it's fresh in my memory. Agree on all fronts! Couldn't live in today's world without my pi-hole 😅.

It looks like you only have to agree to the first two options, if I'm reading correctly. Definitely second the pi-hole option if that isn't the case though...super easy to find telemetry domains based on what still works after blacklisting something (you can also find lists online).

Bit of an ambiguous title!

I have an 8 gig RPi4 (OS is Dietpi) with a 16 terabyte HDD for storage. No issues at all...super fast and reliable. There are great FOSS apps on F-Droid covering just about anything you'd need...the official app, cookbook, bookmarks, notes, news, etc. If you're using an HDD instead of an SSD, just make sure you have a dedicated power supply for the HDD.

Just an FYI that you can definitely download shows/movies to any device via Jellyfin - just did so on my tablet yesterday...jump ship!!

I was wondering what that crazy bar at the bottom was! Sometimes it's green for me. Yet another reason to keep on the degoogling train...

I have this exact same issue with Proton VPN using RethinkDNS...my Wireguard proxy works for a while but then randomly cuts out (on my second user profile). In my case it looks like there's a kill switch when that happens at least but still...can't find any reason why it keeps dropping.
