I mean before I check it in recent, I believe it was real because in my memory the exercise book was telling all the stories it collected are real,or my memory is wrong.I can't check a book that no longer exist in my home, let's passing it.

I actually read some fables from younger, mostly the Chinese textbook in elementary school, some of them are from Aesop's fables, The Farmer and the Viper The Fox and the Grapes The Crow and the Pitcher .etc. Do you have any fable recommendations thoughtful or heartwarming other than Aesop's?

I just knew it recently that the Chinese term of "fable" --"寓言" was invented by Zhuangzi(莊子), his book is full of fables , including fake story of Confucius. I'm relaxing studying Taoism .

I've noticed it too,he's smart to think this far, constant serving need something constant supporting, whether business goal or charity.

When I was in elementary school, our Chinese teacher had gave us a exercise book, each page gives a story, we read it and write answers below. The book should be ditched when finished it or graduated and it's been near 10years I couldn't remember the book, the stories and what was I like at that time, but one foreign story's very impressive when I read it from the book, and I still remember the details without ever seen again,

The story I remembered:

A little boy was extremely hungry and thirsty , he past a house for help , a young lady comes out and generously gives him big glass of milk. The boy memorize her kindness in his heart. Time past by that lady got severe illness , it could be cure but when the bill was sent to her ,she's afraid , she finally opened it with fear, it was the amount of milk and the name of the doctor,he was the little boy.

In my memory , the stories on the book was told are all real, and this single one sometimes appearing in my mind,as I knew I have depression , I think about it more ,some people release their little kindness and I could remember it so long.I see some girls as how the young lady was in that little boy's eyes. And as I think , it looks more like fictional: HOW CAN THE DOCTOR RECOGNIZE THE LADY?Name or other things, even though he can get it during the quick help,it was not written...(and lacks other information)It tends to teach people be gratitude.

I search for it and found the story in Chinese, then I search the name of the doctor,it has Wikipedia page, finally I search "Howard Atwood Kelly milk" and found the story.

According to https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/the-milk-of-human-kindness/ (both story above and the real),Kelly was just have a break, the girl's illness was also not serious,Kelly paid it himself same as he did to many other patients that were not rich.

It should be the first "real" story of gratitude that I've heard, fits the quote "滴水之恩,湧泉相報“,I could also see some similar in Chinese history like what Han Xin did, but it's only history though.I would be glad if the story is 100% real.

Even if you are not weak anymore, you still no opportunity to repay some which helped you.It will be great that thus kindness can be everywhere instead of ABUSING,CHEATING...

Thank you all for reading my texts .

I first found the distro when I was in high school , I already using Debian-based distros as my host OS at that time.Arch's icon attracting me to try it(blue is my favorite color). However, when I started the installation, a CLI appeared instead of GUI, and since I had only been using GNU+Linux for a short time, I gave up.

One day, while scrolling the Chinese forum "2047" (hosted outside China)there 's a post https://2047.one/t/17974#Post-183536 recommending https://archlinuxstudio.github.io/ArchLinuxTutorial/#/ (It has English translation), an online book written by free software enthusiastic user who uses Arch, book was in detailed, covered not only install, daily usage, gaming and circumvent the GFW .The book first emphasize the importance of software freedom and encourage using Arch as it upgrade-cycle immediately brings new features , the book I was excited and start installation following the guide.

However,I couldn't understand the partition step and use Archinstall to done the installation, inside Virt-manager.A day I did pacman -Syyu,Anki runs into problem, and after next pacman -Syyu,the whole system runs into problem,as a noob I can't fix it,mainly I just need restart That deck of Anki as I didn't back up.I stop using Arch, decide try it in future.

This year(I'm a college student now),I have seen safety concerns about Ventoy,so I decided reinstall Debian without Ventoy. The ArchLinuxTutorial write UEFI method but no BIOS,boot Arch iso into virt-manager it will be BIOS,I thought I can first try to install Arch again as Host OS.

On 18th Sep,I did GPG verify and DD command to flash USB drive as my first exprience, also encouraged me may successful install Arch this time,Arch was just like nightmare difficult just little easier compared with Gentoo to me.

19th,I tried near three times and figured out the step stops years ago:

mount /dev/sdax /mnt
mkdir /mnt/efi #Create efi directory
mount /dev/sdax /mnt/efi
mkdir /mnt/home #Create home directory
mount /dev/sdax /mnt/home

I used think Efi and Home folder is in /mnt,so I typed the same partition above,I mentioned the author created 3 partitions before, which match this chart.I passed it and read offcial Arch wiki create Swap by myself. These and after steps are all succeed,I look at the mention word tells me no error I feels so content.Just uncarefully missed 1 of the last steps,I went to sleep and complete restart installing on 20th,all the install finished.

I'm proud that I finally did this I thought uneasy in the past, gave confidence for me to try BIOS Arch install in VM and FreeBSD when I have time one day.Though I still don't understand many parts of the tutor. I was Just follow it and typing, sometimes struggling.

I still prefer stable release rather than rolling ,but I like the KISS principle.

Happy hacking!Recommend this book for you :)
