you don't have to prove yourself to them. They don't deserve anything from you if they can't treat you respectfully.
don't worry. the Perchance forum is on something called Lemmy, which shows new posts to everyone on Lemmy, not just people who use Perchance. Touch the profile of the person you are interacting with and you'll see they basically have no connection to perchance other than their response to your post right here.
I think it dissuades new members of what should be a nice, nonstressful community, but the 'feeling attacked' that is happening to you is quite normal. Often new people will make an innocent post and immediately get like 5 downvotes from people who never touch perchance that just dont want the post in their feed. Also, my other account has almost 200 people, who are inherently aggressive, blocked. Also, mention ai at all and people will seek out the post to intentionally spew hate and support anyone attacking it. Even perchance has some people like that, but Lemmy as a whole has a far larger ratio.
So, imo, please don't let them upset you. I personally just block. I'm not the dev but at least I appreciate your good intent and would say thank you :) (tho there is no way to donate)

banned word "muse" but the "motionmuse" ads still come thru. this is the person who i've banned 20+ times but they just change their ip. Dear Perchance, can you please add an additional list to comment plugin for VeryBannedWords which prevents a comment if it contains the word at all? I think this makes tons of sense since it's silly banning a word like 'Chupacabra' and people can just type 'Chupacabraa' and it gets around it.

Just a tiny nonimportant thing.
if i touch the settings button and dont type anything at all and immediately close it again...
it feels to me like it doesnt need to pop up saying unknown command. aka suggestion is if nothing in the command box at all then dont do the popup; and it will feel tiny bit smoother :)
