They sent ships to provide assistance or rescue if necessary, not to actually protect them from violence or abduction. Basically, they only promised to help someone if their ship sinks and the Italians only did that much to calm striking workers. All optics, no substance.
Right now, I use facebook to 2% check up on relatives living in other states and 98% spread political messaging.
I don't watch Kitchen Nightmares but I'm in the room from time to time when my dad watches Bar Rescue and and his whole schtick just comes across as really punchable
Considering how cheap life is in Russia, and how expensive recruitment bonuses are, I'm surprised they haven't already switched to conscription which they have a long history of.
I've heard of plenty of cases were people (or their next of kin) didn't get shit. I'll grant that that was from the first 2 years of the war, maybe they got their act together.
Not that I would work at a kitchen as bad as the ones on TV but having worked in restaurants, I'm surprised these kitchen nightmare type shows don't have the host get punched by the staff periodically. Line cooks can be salty.
This is most certainly NOT a distraction. It's the main thing to be worried about. Yes, lets call Republicans pedo protectors and keep pushing for the files but it's ultimately less important than Trumps outright attempts at Treason.
