No other source seems to be reporting this?

Yeah daily mail is basically a tabloid as I understand it, so if they're the only source is sus af.

Misleading headline on the Daily Mail site, both articles say he might be stepping down "soon". So that might happen eventually but I can't find any news reports saying it actually happened.

Don't special government employees (like musk is) have a time limit if 130 days? Is this article just saying that 130 days is coming up soon? With all the laws they've broken, seems silly to assume they'd obey this one.

Ok, fair. Didn't post the original article, just thought it'd be a good fit here.

Daily Mail would rather be early than accurate. This is a perfect example of why you shouldn't trust them.

Daily Mail would rather be racist, sexist and xenophobic rather than either of those things.

Thank you for this link. I had checked some sites, but not that one.

It doesn’t corroborate the Daily Mail headline. But it dies imply the headline will happen sometime in the near future.

Daily Mail is like the ultimate tabloid.

Ask a random English person what they think of it next time you come across one

Don't post the Daily Fail on here. The only differences between that and Fox News are that it's British and that you need to be able to read in order to use it.

I didn't create the original post, but all the downvotes had already convinced me of your point.

Doesn’t matter. If he leaves now, people will forget about his role soon enough, Tesla stock will go up, and in a quarter or two it’ll be back to the status quo, him being a centibillionaire but with the government dismantled. He wins. He needs to be constantly called to account and vilified and dealing with his companies needs to become synonymous with being a traitor.
